Vacation Park Sallandshoeve is located in Nieuw Heeten, in the middle of beautiful natural surroundings. Right next to the park you will find National Park the Sallandse Heuvelrug and the Sprengenberg. These areas are ideal for hiking and cycling through the forests and over the hills, where you can enjoy the local flora and fauna. For active holidaymakers, there are several mountain bike routes and golf courses nearby.
The area also offers plenty of opportunities for water-based activities. Boating, canoeing or supping on the nearby lakes and rivers is highly recommended for a peaceful day in nature.
For a fun-filled day, visit Avonturenpark Hellendoorn, which is close to the park (10 km.). This amusement park has more than 30 different attractions, suitable for both young children and adults.
About a 20-minute drive from the park is Zwembad De Tippe, an outdoor swimming pool with three heated pools and a slide. Here you can swim, play or just enjoy the sun.
In addition, the surroundings of Vakantiepark Sallandshoeve are perfect for exploring the villages and towns in the province of Overijssel. Zwolle and Zutphen are two cities that are definitely worth a visit. Both cities offer a mix of culture, history and cosiness.
