By car, it takes about 15 hours to drive to Pula, Croatia. In theory, it’s possible to do this in one go, but it’s strongly recommended to take a stopover in Slovenia. A major advantage of driving to Croatia is that you have your own transport and can easily visit the surrounding towns and attractions whenever you want.
Pula is very easy to reach by plane. From the Netherlands, you can fly directly to Pula from Eindhoven, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. Croatia has eight airports in total. The flight to Croatia takes an average of 2 hours.
The average temperature in summer is around 27 degrees Celsius. July and August are the warmest months. Once the sun comes out, it’s warm, but the evenings cool off to a refreshing temperature. And there’s hardly any need to worry about rain, as precipitation is rare.
