De Leughte Resort Renswoude is an ideal holiday park for families with children up to the age of 14, but also for nature lovers who want to enjoy peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. Located between the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park and the Hoge Veluwe National Park, the park offers a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. With an indoor swimming pool with retractable roof, a fishing pond and various playgrounds, there is always something to do for young and old.

At de Leughte Resort Renswoude, you find yourself in a stunning location between the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and the Veluwe. This recreation park is located on the edge of the Gelderse Vallei, surrounded by beautiful nature and charming villages.
The area around the park offers numerous cycling and walking opportunities through forests, along estates, and across the expansive farmlands. This region is known for its tranquility and natural beauty but also offers plenty of options for active outings such as canoeing, farmer's golf, and horseback riding.
Near e Leughte Resort Renswoude are several charming villages such as Renswoude, known for its historic castle and beautiful castle park. This village is a perfect base for exploring the Grebbelinie, a defensive line rich in history and landmarks. Renswoude also has a supermarket, butcher, liquor store, bakery, snack bar, and lunchroom.
Additionally, there is plenty of culture to discover in the surrounding region. For example, visit the Poultry Museum in Barneveld or the National Military Museum. For a family day out, there are several amusement parks and zoos nearby, such as the Alpaca Forest in Ederveen and Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen.

Reception hours
Reception opening hours vary not only between peak and off-peak seasons but also by day. On average, the reception is open from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, until 7:00 PM on Mondays and 8:00 PM on Fridays. During the peak season, the reception is open daily from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM and until 9:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. In the off-peak season, the reception is mainly open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and until 7:00 or 8:00 PM on Fridays.
Late check-in
Guests arriving outside reception hours should check in at the bar of our restaurant.
Facilities
The facilities offered at our park are open year-round. However, opening hours are more limited in the off-peak season than during the peak season. Current hours can be found on our website.
Animation
We offer an animation program year-round, although it is more limited during weekdays in the off-peak season.
- Tourist tax: Please note, tourist tax is included in the reservation at Recreatiepark de Lucht. The tourist tax is €2.10 p.p.p.n.
- Dogs are welcome at de Leughte Resort Renswoude.

The park is close to the A12 and A30 motorways, which ensures easy access from various directions. From Utrecht, it is about 30 kilometres away, which amounts to about 30 minutes' travel time.
