Camping Betuwestrand is located in the heart of the Betuwe, surrounded by orchards and picturesque villages. The campsite offers direct access to the river Linge, where you can enjoy canoeing, boating or walking along the water. Cycling tours through the area also let you discover the best of Gelderland.
There are plenty of great trips to make in the area, both for adults and children. Visit Owl and Zoo De Paay, where you can discover more than 78 animal species, or go on an adventure at Geofort, where you can explore mazes and underground tunnels. For a day of water fun, we recommend the Caribabad in Gorinchem, a tropical swimming paradise with slides and bubble baths. Children can also have fun in Monkey Town in Leerdam, an indoor play paradise a short distance from the campsite.
Prefer history or culture? Landgoed Mariënwaerdt, the Schoonrewoerdse Wiel and the National Glass Museum are all less than 15 kilometres from the campsite.
Nearby villages such as Beesd and Leerdam offer cosy restaurants and shops for daily shopping, all within a short drive from the campsite.

Camping Betuwestrand is centrally located in the Netherlands and therefore easily accessible. The best way to travel to the campsite is by car.
The campsite is close to the A2 and A15 motorways, making it easy to drive to the campsite from different directions. From Utrecht, it is about 45 kilometres to Camping Betuwestrand, which means a journey time of about 40 minutes by car.
