Camping Casa dei Prati is a cosy family campsite on the beautiful island of Elba, just a 10-minute walk from the beach at Lacona Bay. This small-scale campsite, surrounded by olive trees, offers all the facilities you need for a relaxing and active holiday. In the centre of the campsite, you’ll find reception and a small bar/shop where you can pick up fresh bread every morning and enjoy a cup of coffee. For the more active guests, there are various sports facilities, such as a volleyball court, a football pitch and a bowling green. You can also play a game of table tennis or relax in the jacuzzi by the pool. The lovely outdoor pool also features a separate paddling pool for the little ones. During the high season, the entertainment team organises daily activities for all ages. The beach is just a 10-minute walk from the campsite. Water sports enthusiasts can hire a surfboard, sailing boat or motorboat here. There’s also a sailing and diving school. Feeling peckish or fancying a drink? You’ll find several restaurants along Lacona Beach or in the nearby harbour towns.

The beautiful Lacona Beach is just a 10-minute walk away, or you can use the campsite’s free shuttle bus, which runs several times a day.

Camping Casa dei Prati is located on the enchanting island of Elba, in a peaceful area overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Lacona. With its famous sandy beach and crystal-clear waters, this destination is ideal for families with children. The surrounding area offers a diverse landscape of beaches, ancient forests, and picturesque villages.
Discover Elba's unique nature on foot or by bike. There are numerous hiking trails that lead you to spectacular sea views and serene forests, with some starting just 5 kilometers from the campsite. Watersports enthusiasts can enjoy activities such as sailing, surfing, and diving in Lacona Bay. Dive centers in the area offer excursions to stunning dive sites, often less than 10 minutes from the coast.
In the nearby village of Lacona, just 1 kilometer away, you will find all the amenities you need: supermarkets, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, and local shops. During the summer, there is a charming open-air market on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings, where you can purchase local products and delicacies. Elba is also a great spot for culture and history lovers. Visit historical sites such as the Archaeological Museum of the Mining District in Rio nell'Elba, about 15 kilometers from the campsite, or explore the ancient forts and castles scattered across the island.

- If you check in later than 19:30, the campsite charges a late check-in fee of €35, payable on-site.
- A swim cap is mandatory at the pool.
- At Casa dei Prati, you don’t pay any tourist tax.

Camping Casa dei Prati is located on the Italian island of Elba and is easily accessible by car and ferry.
To reach Elba, drive to the port of Piombino. From here, you can take the ferry to Portoferraio. The crossing takes approximately one hour. From Portoferraio, it is then about a 20-minute drive (approximately 10 km) to the campsite.
You can book your ferry ticket in advance with one of the ferry companies, Moby, Toremar and Blu Navy. Please note that when booking in advance, you will usually need to select a specific date and departure time.
If you are not sure what time you will arrive in Piombino, you can also buy your ticket locally. In that case, we recommend purchasing your ticket as soon as you arrive in Piombino and not driving directly to the port. The ferry price depends on the number of passengers and the dimensions of your vehicle.
