- Dutch animation in high season: During the high season, a Dutch animation team is ready to entertain. Children can participate in activities such as crafting, games, workshops, and pony rides. In the evenings, there are performances, shows, and a mini disco with the campsite mascot.

The campsite is surrounded by forests, lakes, and vineyards and is only 6.5 km from the charming town of Gien. Here, you can also do your daily shopping. Rent a bike and explore picturesque villages, impressive castles, or take relaxing walks in the flower-filled nature park.
There is something for everyone! A short distance from the campsite, you’ll find the famous Gien pottery factory and the Château Museum of Gien (both around 6 km). Adventurous families can visit Château de Saint-Brisson-sur-Loire (10 km) for archery and ghost tours, while children can enjoy the pony club in Poilly-lez-Gien (6 km) and the enchanting Circus Museum in Dampierre and Burly (23 km).
For adventurers, there are boat trips over the iconic Briare canal bridge (18 km), cycling routes along 'La Loire à Vélo,' and exciting excursions to Château de Guédelon (58 km). Relax at the golf course at Château de Sully Sur Loire (26 km) or enjoy a picnic at the arboretum of Nogent sur Vernisson (29 km).

Camping Les Bois du Bardelet is located in Poilly-Lez-Gien, in the heart of France, in the Loire Valley. The campsite is easily accessible by car.
You can reach the campsite via the A6 motorway and then the A77, taking exit 19. After that, follow the D940 towards Bourges for 15 kilometers. From Utrecht, it is approximately a 630 km drive, with a travel time of about 7.5 hours, depending on traffic and the chosen route.
