Camping Betuwe is centrally located in the beautiful river area, surrounded by orchards and picturesque villages. National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug, a short distance away, offers 6000 hectares of opportunities for walking and cycling through varied nature. There are also challenging mountain bike routes and plenty of water sports opportunities on the nearby rivers.

There are plenty of trips to make in the surrounding area. Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen is just a 15-minute drive away, as is the picturesque town of Buren, known as ‘The Pearl of the Betuwe’. Also visit the historic Grebbeberg with its Military Field of Honour, a special place to explore.

The town of Rhenen, 10 minutes away, offers a mix of culture and cosiness. For daily shopping, Timmer Shopping Centre in Lienden and shops in Kesteren are easily accessible within 3 kilometres.

  • Please note that tourist tax must be paid on site. The tourist tax is €2.06 p.p.p.n.
  • The purchase of bed linen is obligatory at Camping Betuwe. The costs are €15,- and are automatically added to your booking. 
  • Fresh rolls can be ordered one day in advance at Camping Betuwe. These can be collected from 9:00 a.m. at the snack bar. 

At Camping Betuwe you can check in from 15:00. On the day before your departure, you should check out before 10:30.

Camping Betuwe is easily accessible and centrally located in the Netherlands, ideal for a relaxing holiday. The best way to travel to the campsite is by car.
Thanks to the nearby A2 and A15 motorways, the campsite is easily accessible from different directions. From Utrecht, it is about 40 kilometres to Camping Betuwe, representing a journey time of about 35 minutes by car.
