Camping Colleverde is a beautiful, centrally located campsite in Tuscany, close to the historic center of Siena. The campsite offers various facilities, including a restaurant with a traditional stone oven, a bar, and a large swimming pool with both deep and shallow areas. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols available. You can also visit the small shop for daily essentials and fresh bread. For children, there is a small playground with swings and a slide. Although there is no animation on the campsite, there is plenty to do. The surrounding area is full of sights and activities, encouraging you to go out and explore!

From Camping Colleverde, you can immerse yourself in the heart of enchanting Tuscany. The campsite is just 2 km from the historic center of Siena, a city known for its stunning cathedral, museums, history, and art. You can happily lose yourself in the narrow streets of this medieval town. Twice a year (in July and August), the entire city center is closed off for the Palio, a horse race held at Piazza del Campo. This event is definitely worth a visit.
The area surrounding the campsite is a paradise for culture and nature lovers. Hop in the car and drive through the rolling hills of the Chianti region, where you can taste the finest wines paired with local pecorino cheese. The medieval town of San Gimignano, famous for its impressive towers, is within easy reach, just 45 kilometers away. Other highlights include the charming Montalcino (40 km), the walled town of Monteriggioni (20 km), and the historic Volterra (65 km), completing your Tuscan adventure.

Pratical information
- The campsite is open from 07/03/2025 to 04/11/2025
- Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- If guests arrive after 10pm, they must leave the identity cards or passports of all guests with the night guard and he will give them the key. Guests can collect the documents again at 8am the next morning.
- The restaurant and bar are open from 7/03 to 04/11/2025, and the mini-market is open from 20/04-20/10/2025.
- Please note: Tourist tax must be paid on-site. The tourist tax is €1 per person per night, applicable from 11 years old.
- Cleaning fees are to be paid on-site. The cleaning fee at Camping Colleverde is €40.
- A swim cap is required in the swimming pool.
At Camping Colleverde, check-in is available from 4:00 PM. On the day of departure, you must check out by 10:00 AM.
Camping Colleverde is located in the heart of Tuscany, near Siena. The campsite is easily accessible by both car and plane.
By Car
Camping Colleverde is conveniently located near the RA03, the road connecting Florence to Siena. From Utrecht, it is approximately a 1,400 km drive, which takes around 15 hours, depending on traffic and the route.
By Plane
If you prefer to fly, you can travel via Florence Airport (Aeroporto di Firenze-Peretola). This airport is about 75 km from the campsite, which translates to a drive of about 1 hour. From there, you can continue your journey to the campsite by rental car or taxi.
