Camping Lestaubière

Camping Lestaubière is a spacious family campsite in the Dordogne, located between Périgueux and Bergerac. The campsite offers a peaceful retreat for all ages, where guests can relax and enjoy the nature, tranquility, and beautiful surroundings. A Dutch-speaking animation team provides a wide range of activities for children, teens, and parents. The heart of the campsite is the shaded terrace, where you can relax under the plane trees. From the terrace, you have a view of the swimming pool, the lake, the beach, the playground, and the surroundings. You can fish in the lake, and fishing competitions are regularly organized. In high season, the snack bar is open, and you can enjoy a varied menu or freshly baked pizza on the terrace several times a week. Throughout the season, you can order fresh bread from the bar. Sports enthusiasts can use the sports field, and nearby you will find a tennis court, golf course, and go-kart track. A canoe trip on the Dordogne River and a visit to the morning markets in Issigeac, Lalinde, Vergt, Le Bugue, or Bergerac/Périgueux are highly recommended.

• Swimming in the pool: Camping Lestaubière has a beautiful pool complex with tropical plants and palm trees. It includes an outdoor pool and a separate children's pool. There are sun loungers available around the pool.
• Extensive animation program: There is a comprehensive Dutch animation program on the campsite with activities such as lantern parades, talent shows, ghost tours, scavenger hunts, and table tennis tournaments. Weekly children’s and teen discos are organized. For older kids and adults, activities like paintball, go-karting, and golf clinics are offered when there is enough interest. There's also a teen hangout spot with a campfire.
• Discover the beautiful Dordogne region: This area is characterized by rolling hills, beautiful villages, prehistoric caves, and delicious food. Take scenic walks along the Dordogne River and discover the many castles in the area.
